If you have an underlying condition, recovering from a recent illness, or maybe you want to build greater confidence in getting more active, then EMPC’s small group sessions are for you.
Start safely with Physio coached Pilates

Many are put off exercising because they find gyms daunting. Here at EMPC, Physio coaches introduce you to safe and effective exercise for health. They introduce and adapt exercises gradually and specifically for you as you progress depending on your needs. Everything we do is designed to ensure close, step by step coaching with exercise specialist physios in a friendly environment.

Our Physio coaches will help you develop confidence steadily, with exercise progressions to suit your needs, in a safe, step by step way under close supervision. We help you develop skills in the fundamentals of safe movement postures and the use of small gym equipment.

From a steady and safe start, we will help you to see that for the things you think you cant do, there is a way that you can. And as you progress, you will find you build confidence in many aspects of your life, feeling stronger, more able and with more energy. You will be amazed at what you can achieve.

Our Beginners Pilates classes are specifically designed for those new to the practice or those returning after a long break. These sessions focus on the fundamental principles of core stability, alignment, and breathing, ensuring you build a safe and effective foundation before progressing to our intermediate levels.
Yes, we offer private 1-to-1 Pilates sessions. These are ideal if you require a bespoke programme tailored to a specific injury, prefer individualised coaching, or wish to master the techniques before joining a group class. Please contact the clinic directly to book a private consultation.
We do not currently list a specific standalone pregnancy class; however, our Pilates instructors are highly trained in modifying exercises for various needs. If you are pregnant, we recommend a 1-to-1 session first so we can assess your requirements and determine if joining.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment or class, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to do so, or non-attendance, will result in the full session fee being charged.
No, the clinic does not have on-site showering facilities. However, we provide private changing areas and fully equipped treatment rooms so you can freshen up and change comfortably before or after your session.
