Career
Worked in the NHS after qualification, in Cambridegshire, then moved to Derbyshire to work as head of Physiotherapy in a private physiotherapy organisation. Ben has worked in Occupational Physiotherapy for DHL Aviation, and has also worked in the Medico legal environment. He moved into Private clinical practice 10 years ago and has been part of the EMPC team for the past 8 years.
Specialty areas
Pain, causing impact on quality of life, severe sports injury, Back and neck pain with associated nerve pain, Shoulder and rotator cuff problems.
Hobbies
Keeping fit in various ways, including resistance training and running.. Swimming and fair weather cycling with friends to a nice watering hole!
Ben also likes watching sport, and as a former rugby player, especially rugby. And with any spare time left, he enjoys reading non fiction and painting, for which he has had a prize winning hidden talent since school years.
Fun fact
I was once a National Champion… under 11’s freestyle as part of a relay team! A peak of athleticism I still haven’t topped!
