Mick Yeoman graduated from Salford University and spent most of his early career working in Professional football, mostly in the Premier League. From 1994 – 2004 he was 1st team physiotherapist at Leicester City Football Club, working with Martin O’Neill in one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.
Mick has worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist in the private sector since leaving LCFC in 2004, to broaden and further develop his clinical career. Having worked closely with EMPC in his time at LCFC, he finally joined the team at here in 2014, bringing his wealth of experience of managing professional and elite sports injury. He has a keen interest in treating and rehabilitating injuries related to activity, whether sporting or recreational and is particularly interested in helping the more mature, stay active in whatever their chosen sport or activity.
Mick is a very experienced musculoskeletal injury physiotherapist, with over 30 years clinical experience. He is also a qualified acupuncturist and experienced in the use of acupuncture for pain relief. Over and above his broad experience, he now also specialises in cycling injuries.
He is a keen runner, road and mountain cyclist himself and this keeps him in touch with the needs of the serious, but not always elite level sports person. He is a trained ‘bike fit’ physiotherapist and can offer specialist injury prevention and performance enhancing advice as well as bike fit assessment for those eager to take up cycling or those with niggling injury or performance issues.Back to Our Team page
